Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I get support ?

Server Details

POP3 Server - mail.cwazy.net

IMAP Server - mail.cwazy.net

SMTP Server - smtp.cwazy.net

If you want to use encrypted passwords, POP3, IMAP & SMTP support "Secure Password Authentication", DIGEST-MD5 and CRAM-MD5 password encryption.

If you choose to use "Secure Password Authentication" in Outlook Express you should leave the domain blank.

Why can't I delete mail when I'm over quota ?

This question only affects people who are unable to delete mail via the web interface when their account is 100% full.

It is easier to answer this question by showing how the system puts mail into the "Trash" folder:

1. Select email to be deleted.
2. Copy email into "Trash" folder.
3. Remove original copy of email.

The problem is between steps 2 and 3 two copies of the email exist (the original email and the new copy in the "Trash" folder), if you are over quota this is not possible (you do not have space to create a second copy in the "Trash" folder) and hence the problem.

The solution is to turn off the "Trash" folder when you are over quota, delete some email, then turn it back on.

To turn off the "Trash" folder:

Select options from the top menu bar
From the options menu select "Folder Preferences"
Find the section headed "Special Folder Options"
Use the drop down box next to "Trash Folder", select "[Do not use Trash]"
Press the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

Your "Trash" folder is now turned off and you can delete email.

Remember to turn the "Trash" folder back on when you have finished deleting mail.

How do I setup Outlook Express ?

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Go to the "Tools" menu and select the "Accounts" entry
3. Click on "Mail" tab, then [Add] a new account
4. Follow all steps of the account creation wizard.
5. The POP3 / IMAP mail server username is the username you chose during your registration
6. As incoming mail server (POP3 or IMAP), put "mail.cwazy.net"
7. As outgoing mail server (SMTP), put "smtp.cwazy.net"

If you tick the "Secure password authentication" box your password will be encryped when it is sent over the internet.

8. After entering your username and password, you will be returned to the "Accounts" screen
9. Select your Cwazy account from the list of accounts, it will turn blue
10. Select 'Properties' from the right menu bar (third down)
11. Now select the 'Servers' tab at the top
12. Tick the 'My server requires authentication' box under 'Outgoing Mail Server'
13. Click 'OK'
14. Click 'Close'

Your account is now setup.
